Headed
by Sandbox employee Chris Vorhees and assisted by official Sandbox Sub-contractors
Nat Russell, Matt Godfrey, and Andy Harrier. The inner frame was constructed
out of pine 1x2's and then sheathed with 1/8" Autumn and Spring Oak Plywood
Paneling. Then, on May 28, 1998, in the middle of the night, the wagon was hauled
in two trips to the chosen space (an abandoned gas station) and installed for
1 week and 1 day. After the wagon had been rained on a few times and then baked
to a waffle-like crisp, it was decided that the wagon should be no more. And
as suddenly as the three dimensional chunk of graffiti appeared, it was demolished
and removed from the subconscious of the local landscape.
